Red all over

A good week for the colour red. Ogilvy was named Asian Agency of the Year for the 3rd time in a row, and LFC top both the Premier League and their European Championship group. Unfortunately the third bet in the trifecta (International Socialism) didn't come through - though with the US goverment busy nationalising the crowning heights of capitalism, it can't be much longer.

A mighty Rory

Congratulations to my old colleague and friend, Rory Sutherland, on his election to the post of President of the IPA. (The UK ad agency trade body.) Rory having started in the DM side of the business, this is described in terms of minority achievement similar to those used for Barack Obama. A change is gonna come...

Can you believe it? 16 games in the season and we're on top! However a couple of very poor draws make one wonder if it can be sustained. Last night's 3-1 away over Blackburn offers hope though.
